Use the sign-in method linked to your account on the sign-in screen. Before switching devices, make sure you still have access to that sign-in method.

Open Settings, then Account, and choose the username change option. You get one free change; later changes require a Rename Card. The dialog shows your available cards and a purchase option when you need one.

Open Settings, then Devices. Review your signed-in sessions and end the session you no longer want to use. Never share your sign-in details or verification codes.
